About us
We are a diverse church with a rich missional history, located on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre.
From our origins over 150 years ago, we believe God called us to reach our community.
Our passion is to walk alongside some of the most vulnerable in our society, to work for justice, and to help and empower people to live a life in all its fullness, as Jesus described.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate to the full, regardless of background.
We would describe ourselves as a charismatic, evangelical church. We are known as a progressive and an innovative church within the Diocese of Liverpool and we actively seek to resource other churches.
Christ our Hope Liverpool
We are part of Christ our Hope Liverpool, a single large parish which includes 7 churches in the West Derby Deanery. Together, we long to be “growing Christ-centred communities that enable everyone to flourish”.
